Monday December 23, DEPARTURE
Flying from Nashville to Buenos Aires.

Tuesday December 24, ARRIVAL IN BUENOS AIRES
Arrive at Buenos Aires International Airport.
Welcome by our representative and assistance with arrival formalities.
Transfer to the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel. Check in. Snack/lunch on your own.
Guided tour of the city center of Buenos Aires, including: 9 de Julio Ave. with Obelisco, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada (Government House), the Metropolitan Cathedral (with Shoah Memorial), the Cabildo (first City Hall, built during Spanish rule), pedestrian Florida street, antique/19th century Café Tortoni, Congress Building.
Welcome Dinner (included).
Return to the hotel.

Wednesday December 25, EXPLORING BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit San Telmo, the best kept historical neighborhood and oldest district of Buenos Aires. Stroll around Plaza Dorrego and its local antique market. Visit La Boca, the old port neighborhood where most immigrants arrived. Open arts fair, tango dancing on the street, Caminito Street.
Snack/lunch on your own, en route.
Walking tour in the Recoleta area, one of the city’s most glamorous spots and home to elegant boutiques, excellent restaurants and the Cemetery where Evita Perón is buried and beautiful old Spanish style Church Nuestra Señora del Pilar.
Stop at the Israeli Embassy Memorial. On March 17, 1992, a bomb ripped through the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, located on a peaceful and seemingly out-of-the-way corner of Recoleta neighborhood. Twenty-nine people lost their lives in the tragedy.
Return to the hotel.

Thursday December 26, JEWISH BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Latin-American Jewish Congress.
Visit the site of the terrorist bombing at the AMIA in 1994; the new building with the memorial dedicated to the 89 victims. Visit the “Once District”, the main Jewish neighborhood. Abasto Shopping Center with Kosher McDonalds. Snack/lunch on your own, en route.
Visit the “Victims of State Terrorism” Memorial Park.
Visit the Latin-American Rabbinical Seminary.
Return to the hotel.

Friday December 27, JEWISH BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel.
Plaza Lavalle and Memorial to the AMIA Victims in front of Palace of Justice. Guided visit to the Jewish Museum at Libertad Synagogue, the Grand Synagogue of Buenos Aires.
Lunch: Argentine Pizza Experience (included).
Guided tour at the Teatro Colón, the main opera house in Buenos Aires (the theatre is ranked the third best opera house in the world by National Geographic, and is acoustically considered to be among the five best concert venues in the world).
Return to the hotel. Time to prepare for Shabbat.
Kabbalat Shabbat Service at a local Synagogue (AMIJAI).
Shabbat Dinner at the Synagogue (included).
Return to the hotel.

Saturday December 28, FREE DAY + TANGO SHOW
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free Day.
8:30PM (after dinner). Pick up from the hotel and transfer to Tango Show. Best traditional tango show in Buenos Aires. Refined atmosphere, great artists.
Return to the hotel.

Sunday December 29, LAST DAY IN BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Tour of the Government House (Casa Rosada). Visit some of the nicest BA neighborhoods (Palermo with its extended green gardens, Retiro with Plaza San Martín, Recoleta with Plaza Francia and the nearby museums). Time permitting Argentine Soccer Experience (visit the River Plate Soccer Stadium), and finally residential Vicente Lopez.
Farewell Asado: Familiar Kosher Barbecue “Argentine Stile” (included).
Transfer to Buenos Aires International Airport for your flight to the USA.

Monday December 30, RETURN TO THE USA
Arrival at Nashville International Airport.

Payments: $500 deposit + $16 administrative fee with application; 60 days before the trip: half of the balance; 30 days before the trip: rest of the balance.
